Here & Now Butterfly card

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using the Here & Now Mixed Ephemera Pack. This pack is, in my opinion, designed for scrapbooking which is something I haven’t got to grips with yet. I have therefore used it to make a card.

Colours used in this care are:

I created the here & now butterfly card using the following supplies:

Strawberry Slush card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Secret Sea – 4½” by 3½”
Label from the Here & Now Ephemera Pack
Secret Sea – 4 ¾” by ⅝”
Basic White -5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White

I stamped the sentiment, from the Framed Violets stamp set in the centre of my chosen label using Secret Sea ink.

I used 3rd generation Strawberry Slush ink to stamp over the sentiment, adding texture. The same image was stamped in 3rd generation Strawberry Slush ink onto one of the panels of Basic White card in the upper right and lower left corners.

I cut the rectangle of Secret Sea card in half on the diagonal and adhered the two halves to the back of the stamped panel in opposite corners. The whole piece was then glued to the Strawberry Slush card front.
