A pretty floral anniversary card made using the Layers of Beauty stamp set, dies and co-ordinating masks along with the Bright and Beautiful dsp from Stampin' Up!

Masked Beauty card – Magic of Masks Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Magic of Masks Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using masks or stencils. I am loving both the Enduring Beauty and new Layers of Beauty stamp sets, dies and masks and couldn’t resist using the new Layers of Beauty bundle to make my masked beauty anniversary card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the masked beauty card, you will need:

Highland Heather card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Bright & Beautiful dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the Bright & Beautiful dsp to the 5⅝” by 3⅞” panel of Basic White card. This was then glued to the Highland Heather card front. I stamped the sentiment onto the card front using Gorgeous Grape ink.

I placed the masks, which are helpfully numbered, one at a time on top of the stamped image. Using Blending Brushes, I added Lemon Lolly to the roses and Highland Heather to the small daisies. Each mask added another layer of colour to the flowers.

Flowers of Beauty card – Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing a project we have been working on recently. I have been playing with the Flowers of Beauty stamp set, new product from the Annual Catalogue which will go live on the 1st May 2024.

Colours in this project are:

Basic White, Pretty In Pink, Petunia Pop, Summer Splash & Pretty Peacock

To recreate the flowers of beauty card, you will need:

Petunia Pop card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Summer Splash card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Pretty in Pink & Petunia Pop

Using a Blending Brush, I added Pretty In Pink ink to the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card. The inked panel was then glued to the Summer Splash layer and then to the Petunia Pop card base.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the out line of the leafy spray in Pretty Peacock ink. The more solid image was added over the top in Summer Splash ink. I used the Flowers of Beauty Dies to cut out the leafy spray. The spray was glued to the card front.

From scrap Pretty In Pink and Petunia Pop cardstock, I die cut the rows of large and small flowers. Using the round end of a pencil I shaped each flower. The smaller Pretty In Pink flowers were added to the centre of the larger Petunia Pop flowers with a Mini Glue Dot to hold them together.

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are showcasing the spotlight technique. I have used the Enduring Beauty stamp set and Tahitian Tide ink, a soon to be retiring colour.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Tahitian tide floral card, you will need:

Tahitian Tide card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

Using Tahitian Tide ink, I randomly stamped the large floral image all over the Tahitian Tide card front and set it aside.

I used a 1¾” Circle Punch to punch out a part of the stamped image. The large image with the punched out circle was glued to the Basic Black layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I used the same glue to add the stamped panel tp the Tahitian Tide card base.
