Rose in a Vase Card – Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we are creating projects inspired by a sketch. I have made my card using the pretty Pop-Up Petals stamp set and co-ordinating dies.

Colours used to create this card are:

I created the rose in a vase card using the following supplies:

I ran one of the largest panels of Basic White card through the Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder. The embossed panel was then trimmed down to 4⅞” by 3 ¼” before it was adhered to the Lost lagoon layer. The whole piece was glued to the Bubble Bath card front.

I coloured a piece of White Baker’s Twine using a Dark Misty Moonlight Blends Pen. When it was dry (it takes a couple of minutes) I wrapped it around the whole piece before gluing the panel to the Hydrangea Hue card front.

From the squares of Misty Moonlight and Basic White card I die cut stitched circles using the Stylish Shapes dies. The sentiment was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink onto the Basic White circle which was then glued to the Misty Moonlight circle. The whole piece was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

Piece of card 2 card front – 5½” by ¾”
