Hills of Tuscany card for Team Training Swaps

Today I am sharing the card I made for our team training swaps. I couldn’t wait to use the Hills of Tuscany stamp set – a sneak peak of a stamp set coming in the Jan – April 2024 Catalogue. To make things easier we have a sketch to give us inspiration.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the Hills of Tuscany card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Softly Stippled dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Misty Moonlight card – 5½” by ⅜” x 2
Misty Moonlight card – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White card – 3¼” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 4⅛” by ½”

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the Misty Moonlight strips on either side of the Softly Stippled dsp panel. This piece was then adhered to the Thick Basic White card front.

From the 3¼” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card I die cut a stitched circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies.

The hill was stamped in, stamped off or 2nd generation Granny Apple Green ink with the detail added in Garden Green ink. The house was stamped in Calypso Coral ink and the roof in Misty Moonlight ink.

I added the trees with Garden Green, the sun in Daffodil Delight before stamping the sky in 2nd generation Pool Party ink. The decorated circle was glued to the Misty Moonlight deckled circle – cut from the 3½” by 3½” panel. The whole piece was munted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
