Easter Hopping Around the World Blog Hop

Welcome to the Hopping Around the World Blog Hop where our theme is Easter. If you have joined me from Jennifer Downey’s blog, welcome and I hope you enjoy the inspiration we have to share with you today.

I have chosen to make my card made using the Cuckoo For You stamp set and the co-ordinating Cuckoo Clock dies.

To recreate the Cuckoo For You Easter card you will need:

Whisper White – %⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded lower right corner
Whisper White – 4⅛” by 2 ¼”
Purple Posy – 5” by ½”
Scrap Whisper White

I began by stamping the ‘hydrangea’ image from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set randomly across the Pool Party card base in Pool Party ink. I love the texture this stamp gives to the card front.

Using scrap Whisper White card stock I stamped the sweet little rabbit image from the Cuckoo To You stamp set five times in Early Espresso ink. The rabbits were then coloured in using the following Blends Markers – Petal Pink combo, Pool Party combo, So Saffron combo and Purple Posy combo. The noses were added with the dark Crumb Cake Blend Marker. The carrots were coloured in using the Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green combo. The images were then die cut using the Cuckoo Clock dies.

I stamped the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set in Bermuda Bay ink along the bottom of the strip of Whisper White and added the rabbits across the panel on Dimensionals.

I die cut the adorable lacy border from the Arts & Crafts dies using the strip of Purple Posy card stock and adhered it to the bottom of the decorated Whisper White strip and added the whole piece to the Pool Party card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

To complete the card I added a trio of Iridescent Sequins. I love this card, it is so pretty. I hope you like it.
