Lift Me Up – Congratulations

Today I have made another card using the lovely Lift Me Up stamp set. I really wanted to try out the co-ordinating Up & Away Thinlit Dies and I have to say, I love them, especially the large detailed balloon.

I die cut the medium and the small balloon shape from a small panel of Very Vanilla cardstock.  I then stamped the small balloon onto Very Vanilla cardstock using Night of Navy ink and die cut it using the small balloon die. The large detailed balloon was die cut from Night of Navy cardstock. I used the Precision Base Plate with the BigShot and also the die brush to make sure I got a good impression and could get all the little pieces out easily.

I mounted the die cut Very Vanilla panel using Dimensionals onto a piece of dsp from the By The Shore paper pack and backed it with a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock, leaving a tiny border. The whole piece was then added to a Soft Sky card base.

The die cut balloons were added with Tombow Liquid Adhesive. The sentiment from the same stamp set was stamped on Very vanilla cardstock with Night of Nay ink and cut out using scissors to flag the end

I am really pleased with how this card turned out and I hope you like it as well. Thank you so much for visiting my blog; hope to see you again soon.
