Autumnal Leaves for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing Autumn/Fall themed projects. I have used the Perched in a Tree stamp set and Aspen Trees Dies to make an Autumn Leaves card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Autumn leaves card, you will need:

Cherry Cobbler card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – Rounded upper left corner
Pumpkin Pie card – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper left corner – for the inside
Scrap Garden Green, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze & Soft Suede card

I took the larger of the dotty images from the Perched in a Tree stamp set and stamped it on the scrap Garden Green, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze & Soft Suede cardstock in the co-responding ink colour to give a textured look.

Using the Aspen Leaves Dies I die cut the smaller leaf from each piece of scrap card where I had stamped the dotty image,

I added each leaf to the smaller panel of Basic White card, each overlapping the one before. I trimmed off the overhang at each side.

A piece of Linen Thread was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back using Sellotape. The panel was then added to the Pumpkin Pie layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts stamp set was stamped below the leaves in Soft Suede ink. The whole panel was then mounted onto the Cherry Cobbler card base on Dimensionals.

A scatter of Champagne Rhinestones and Adhesive Backed Sequins completed the card.

Such a pretty card, I hope you like it.

Please continue to hop on sharing the inspiration provided by my fellow demos.
