We embossed the Smoky Slate panel using the Painted Textures Embossing Folder and added it to the Thick Basic White card base.

The 3 glasses were stamped in Basic Gray ink onto scrap Basic White card, The ‘wheat beer’ was added with Daffodil Delight ink, the bitter with Soft Suede ink and the wine with Merry Merlot…….obviously. These were die cut using the Brewed Dies.

We glued the strip of dsp to the bottom of the Basic White strip, added a row of bubbles in Smoky Slate ink across the top before adding the glasses with either liquid glue or Dimensionals. The piece was then added to the card front.

The ladies had a choice of sentiments which were stamped in Basic Gray ink onto Daffodil Delight card. We trimmed it down and tucked it under the decorated strip. A trio of Classic Matte Dots completed the card.

Cocktails or Mocktails card

The strips of Basic Gray card were glued to the back of the dsp, the piece was then added to one of the Basic White panels. We wrapped a piece of White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the strip before the whole panel was added to the Sweet Sorbet card base. The sentiment was stamped in Sweet Sorbet ink.

The three glasses were stamped in Basic Gray ink onto scrap Basic White card. We inked up the infill stamp with Daffodil Delight and added Sweet Sorbet ink to the bottom using a Sponge Dauber before stamping it inside one of the glasses. We re-inked the stamp with the Daffodil Delight and added Granny Apple Green to the bottom. For the wine glass, we inked up with Sweet Sorbet and added Blackberry Bliss to the bottom. These were then die cut.

The glasses were added to the Stitched Square and bubbles added with Smoky Slate ink. The square was the added to the card front. Classic Matte Dots completed the card.

The beer glass was stamped in the stitched circle and the ‘beer’ added with Daffodil Delight ink. We sliced a little off the right side of the circle before adding it to the card base.

The drinks themed card made using the Brewed For You stamp set and Brewed Dies by Stampin' Up! for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Drinks Anyone? for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing food and drink themed projects. I have used the new Brewed For You stamp set and co-ordinating Dies to make my drinks themed card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the drinks card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Crumb Cake card – 5½” by 3¾”
Very Vanilla card – 3¾” by 2”
Merry Merlot card – 3¾” by 1”
Very Vanilla card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Very Vanilla & Merry Merlot

I stamped the beer glass in Crumb Cake ink, randomly over the Crumb Cake panel and adhered it to the card base using Mini Glue Dots. I wanted to lift it a little to create a shadow but not enough to need Dimensionals.

The small panel of Very Vanilla card was run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Painted Texture Embossing Folder. I added the strip of Merry Merlot card to the bottom of the embossed panel and glued it to the card front.

The beer glass was stamped in Soft Suede ink and the beer added in 2nd generation Crushed Curry ink. The wine glass and the tall soda glass were also stamped in Soft Suede ink. I added the wine in Merry Merlot ink and the soda in Soft Suede ink. They were die cut using the co-ordinating Brewed Dies. The foam on top of the beer was stamped in Soft Suede ink and die cut using the same dies.
