Masterfully Made card – Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop where we are creating projects based on a Tic, Tac, Toe board. I have chosen to use the line down the left hand side – Thank you, Embossing & DSP. I used the Masterfully Made designer series paper and the layered Florals 3D Embossing Powder to make my card.

Starry Sky card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Masterfully Made dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White & Fresh Freesia

Using the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder I ran the panel of dsp through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine using the Speciality Plate. I placed the embossed piece on my Glass Mat with the de-bossed side uppermost.

The Starry Sky ink pad was then repeatedly rubbed over the dsp panel until the colour was dark enough and the Fresh Freesia dsp showed up nicely. The inked dsp panel was then glued to the  5⅜” by 3⅝” layer of Basic White card.

A length of ribbon was then wrapped around the panel, secured with Tear & Tape and the whole piece was then glued to the Starry Sky card base.

One of the pretty frames from the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set was stamped onto scrap Fresh Freesia using Starry Sky ink. The frame was then punche out using the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. The sentiment, from the Biggest Wish stamp set was stamped inside the frame using the same ink. I punched a white hexagon, cut it in half from side to side and glued it to the reverse of the sentiment with a little bit peeking out at the top and the bottom. The sentiment was mounted over the ribbon on Dimensionals.

Colourful Birthday card – Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we have picture and or colour challenge to work with. I have chosen to use the colours for a bright and cheerful birthday card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the colourful birthday card, you will need:

Coastal Cabana card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

The word BIRTHDAY was stamped down the right-hand side of the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card. The word was really easy to line up as I worked my way down the panel.

A card made for a sketch challenge using the Bright & Beautiful dsp and Beautiful Balloons stamp set by Stampin' Up! or the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Bright & Beautiful card for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by a sketch. I have to admit I found this a difficult sketch to work with and had a number of failed attempts before I settled on the card I am sharing today. I have used the Beautiful Balloons stamp set and Bright & Beautiful Dsp to make my card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the bright & beautiful card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 4⅛” by 2”
Fresh Freesia Card – 5⅞” by ⅝”
Bright & Beautiful dsp 2” by 2” squares x 2

Using a Paper Trimmer, I cut the 2” squares of Bright & Beautiful dsp in half diagonally and used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the dsp triangles to the Thick Basic White card front.

The small balloon was stamped up the length of the Fresh Freesia strip which was then glued to the card front.

I stamped the small balloon all over the 4⅛” by 2” panel of Basic White card in Lemon Lolly ink. The same small balloon was stamped again in Fresh Freesia then Bubble Bath inks.

The sentiment from the Biggest Wish stamp set was stamped over the balloons in Pebbled Path ink. Love this bold sentiment. This panel was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.
