A festively decorated Advent Calender made using Stampin' Up! products

Christmas Countdown Advent and Alternative

Oh my goodness I love the gorgeous new Christmas Countdown Project Kit. It makes a super cute Advent Calender with a sturdy frame and pull out boxes which are a really good size – inside dimensions are 2” by 2” by 2”. Even better the kit comes with most of the elements you need to complete the calender.

There is a co-ordinating stamp set which I do not have to add a little customization to the decoration. I used stamp sets I already have to do this.

The calender was so quick and easy to put together as well.

A alternative non Christmas look to the Christmas Countdown Project Kit

The other fantastic thing about the calender is that each box has 4 faces – I turned the boxes 180⁰ and decorated them all using the lovely Bird Ballard dsp. Each square of dsp was cut to a shade under 2” by a shade under 2” and a semicircle  punched out with the 1” circle Punch. So many possibilities……..

I think I might use mine to store embellishments in.
