Real Red card – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White card – 4½” by 2¾”
Basic Black card – 3” by ¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

I began by die-cutting the large and small stars using the dies from the Beautiful Balloons die set and scrap Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Azure Afternoon card.

The die cut stars were then laid out onto the small panel of Basic White card to work out the positioning. Once I had them arranged, I lifted them one at a time and glued them in place using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The sentiment, from the Charming Sentiments stamp set, was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Basic Black ink, covered it with White Embossing Powder and used my Heat Tool to set it. I flagged the ends before adding it to the card front on Mini Glue Dots as I did not want to add anymore height to the card.

Bright Leaves

Here is a cheerful, summery  card featuring some gorgeous bright leaves and made using the Love of Leaves stamp set and Stitched Leaves Dies.

To recreate the bright leaves card you will need:

Bermuda Bay card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored and folded at 4⅛” – Rounded upper left corner
Daffodil Delight – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper left corner x 2
Scrap Whisper White and Granny Apple Green

I stamped the largest leaf from the Love of Leaves stamp set onto one of the Whisper White panels using Granny Apple Green ink. This is a ‘distinctive’ stamp set meaning you get layers of texture, light and dark with each inking.

The other two leaves were stamped on scrap Whisper White, the larger in Bermuda Bay ink and the smallest leaf in Daffodil Delight.

I glued the two die cut leaves to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The decorated panel was then added to the Daffodil Delight layer using the same adhesive. The whole panel was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Granny Apple Green ink on scrap Whisper White, trimmed it out using my Paper Trimmer. I backed it with a scrap if Granny Apple Green and mounted it onto the card front on a Dimensional.
