Gleaming Baubles

It’s that time again you are joining me for the December Stamp ‘n Hop Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Christmas’.  I love a bit of Christmas crafting and have made a gleaming baubles card using the Christmas Gleaming stamp set. If you have hopped over from the lovely Cheryl Taylor, welcome. If you are starting with me you are also very welcome.

To recreate the Gleaming Baubles card you will need:

Seaside Spray card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper left corner

Pretty Peacock – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – Rounded  Brightly Gleaming Stamp set.upper left corner

Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper left corner x 2
Scrap Whisper White and Just Jade.

Using a Sponge Dauber I added Frost White Shimmer Paint to one of the baubles from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set and stamped it onto one of the Whisper White panels. I repeated this step, randomly stamping the image over the Whisper White panel. This gives such a subtle background with a soft shimmer. The stamped panel was then added to the Pretty Peacock layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The whole panel was added to the Seaside Spray card base using the same adhesive.

I stamped the same bauble in Seaside Spray ink onto scrap Whisper White and again in Pretty Peacock ink and punched both baubles out using the Ornament Punch.

The leaves from All Things Fabulous stamp set were stamped in Just Jade ink on Just Jade card. They were then die cut using the Fabulous Florals Dies and the Cut & Emboss Machine.

The Seaside Spray bauble was added to the card front with liquid glue and the die cut leaves tucked in behind using the same glue. The Pretty Peacock bauble was added on Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set was stamped in Just Jade ink and cut out using my sharp scissors before being added to the card front. I added a trio of 2020 – 2022 In Color Enamel Dots to complete the card.
