Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are CASEing a demonstrator. Caseing means copy and share or copy and selectively edit a design created by someone else. I have chosen to case a design by Su Mohr changing the dsp and the stamp set.
Here is Su’s original design.
Colours used in this project are:
To recreate the CASE a wreath card, you will need:
Garden Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded lower left corner
Real Red card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded lower left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded lower left corner
Sweetest Christmas dsp – 5 ½” by 2”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Scrap Basic White card
I used the zig zag die from the Basic Borders dies set to shape the top and the bottom of the strip of Sweetest Christmas dsp. Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the strip to one of the Basic White panels. The Basic White layer was then glued to the Real Red panel and then to the Garden Green card base.
The wreath was stamped in Garden Green ink onto the Basic White square and die cut it out using the Country Cottage Dies.
The sentiment, from the Leaves of Holly stamp set was stamped in the centre piece of the wreath in Real Red Ink. The wreath was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals. The sentiment was inlaid into the centre of the wreath.
I stamped the bow in Real Red ink and die cut it out before adding it to the wreath.
A scattering of Red Rhinestones completed the card.
I hope you like it and thank you for the inspiration Su.
Please continue around the hop to see what my crafty friends have to share with us today.
