Beauty for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Kylie Bertucci demo blog hop where we are sharing thank you cards made for our customers. My card this month is made using the Beauty of Friendship stamp set and the gorgeous Cork Speciality dsp.

The colours used in this project are:

To recreate the beauty card, you will need:

Soft Succulent card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Cork dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Evening Evergreen card – 4¾” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 4½” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Basic White strip – ⅜”
Evening Evergreen strip – ¼”

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the Cork dsp to the Soft Succulent card base. I placed a scrap piece of Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbons and secured them in place with Seal +.

The tree trunk was stamped in Soft Suede ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card and added the ‘ground’ in 2nd generation Soft Suede ink.

I inked up the tree canopy using Soft Succulent ink and added some Evening Evergreen ink using a Sponge Dauber.

The sentiment was stamped in Evening Evergreen ink onto the strip of Basic White card which was trimmed to size. It was then glued to the strip of Evening Evergreen before it was added to the card front.

I completed the card with a trio of 2021-2023 In Color Jewels. I hope you like it.

Please continue around the hop, there is lots of great inspiration to be found.

Harvest Coneflowers for the Colour Combo Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Colour Combo Blog Hop where I have made a sweet harvest coneflowers thank you card. I love this hop as often the colours are not ones I would have gravitated towards or not those I would have put together and tis is certainly the case today.

The colours we have been given are:

To recreate the harvest coneflowers thank you card, you will need:

Cinnamon Cider card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Very Vanilla – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Cork dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Blushing Bride – 4⅞” by 3⅛”
Very Vanilla – 4½” by 3”
Very Vanilla – 5½” by 3 ¾” – for the inside
Scrap Very Vanilla

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I adhered the Cork dsp to the larger Very Vanilla panel. The layer was then added, using the same liquid glue, to the Cinnamon Cider card base.

I used the following Stampin’ Write Markers to colour in the flowers, stems and leaves – Cinnamon Cider, Blushing Bride & Mango Melody. The flowers were then die cut using the Mini Cut & Emboss Machine and the harvest dies.

I stamped the smudgy image (I know – but I don’t know what else to call it) in 2nd generation Blushing Bride ink onto the smallest panel of Very Vanilla card and the die cut flower added on top with Dimensionals under the flowers and the stems added with liquid glue.

The sentiment was stamped in Cinnamon Cider ink and a length of Flirty Flamingo Gold Metallic Ribbon wrapped around the panel and adhered on the back with Sellotape. The panel was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

A trio of Elegant Faceted Dots were added to the card to finish it.

I hope you like the card. Please hop on to see what Sonja Kindler has to share with us today.
