Lovely daisy themed welcome to the team cards.

Welcome to the Daisy Stampers

Today I am sharing 2 cards I made to welcome 2 new team members. Our team name is the ‘Daisy Stampers’ so the Daisy Delight and Daisy Lane stamp sets were perfect for these cards. We also have the lovely Daisy Punch which co-ordinates with both sets – love a bit of co-ordination……..

I attached the daisy with the liquid adhesive and added a Gold Faceted Gem to the centre of the flower. The leaves were punched from scrap Garden Green cardstock and tucked in behind the flower.

I stamped the stem from the Daisy Delight stamp set in Garden Green ink on the inside of the card and the envelope. I added the flower outline in Daffodil Delight, filling in the colour by inking up the solide image and stamping it off before stamping over the outline image.

A sweet birthday card made using the Daisy Punch and the Delightfully Detailed dsp by Stampin' Up!

Delightfully Detailed Daisy

Today I am sharing the sweet card I made earlier this month for a customer’s birthday using the Daisy Punch and a piece of the gorgeous Delightfully Detailed designer series paper (dsp).

Making the Daisy Card

I started by taking a piece of Highland Heather cardstock 5½” by 3¾” and punching 2 daisies from the centre using the Daisy Punch making sure to stay away from the edges. I then took a piece of Whisper White cardstock 5⅜” by 3⅝” and adhering it to the piece of Highland Heather cardstock using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I then inserted the whole panel into the 2¼” Circle Punch and punched a hole.

I cut a small piece of the stunning Delightfully Detailed dsp, just enough to place behind the punched circle. I glued the dsp to the front of a Soft Sea Foam after marking where it would show in the circle. I used little dabs of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to secure the dsp. The punched panel was then added to the card front on Stampin Dimensionals.

I used my bone folder to curl the petals of the punched daisies before adhering them together with a couple of Mini Glue Dots, a Clear Faceted Gem was added to the centre. I glued the daisy to the card front using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

Using the Leaf punch I punched a couple of leaf sprigs and tucked them in behind the flower. The sentiment from the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set was stamped in Highland Heather ink onto a scrap of Whisper White which was added to the card front with glue.

I love the soft colours of this card, so pretty.
