Thank you for joining me today for he Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where our theme is Easter or Spring. I have to say the daffodils and crocuses are blooming in my garden, the birds are singing and hopefully, we are heading for warmer weather. I have picked an Easter Flowers in a jar.

The colours used in this project are:

To recreate this Easter Flowers card, you will need:

Pool Party – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Old Olive card base – 5⅞” & 5¾” – scored at 4⅛” on the 5¾” side – rounded upper right corner
Ornate Garden dsp – 5¾” by 4” – rounded upper right corner
Very Vanilla – 5 ¼” by 3½” x 2 – rounded upper right corner
Very Vanilla – 5” by 3 ¼” – rounded upper right corner
Scrap Very Vanilla

The piece of Ornate Garden dsp was added to the inner panel of the Old Olive card base using Multicoloured Liquid Adhesive.

The smaller panel of Very Vanilla card was run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Tasteful Textiles Embossing Folder. I added it to the 1⅝” front panel of the card using the liquid glue.

I added one of the larger Very Vanilla panels to the back of the embossed panel and to the inside layer, positioned to be hidden from the front.

Using Basic Gray ink I stamped the jar and the bouquet of flowers onto scrap Very Vanilla card. The jar was punched out using the Jar Punch and I cut out the flowers using scissors.

The water was added to the jar with 2nd generation Pool Party ink and the stems in Old Olive. I used the Blends Markers to colour in the flowers and foliage – Old Olive, Rococo Rose, Daffodil Delight and Purple Posy

The flowers were stuck to the jar using liquid glue. A length of Linen Thread was wrapped around the jar top to bide the join and the whole piece added to the card front using Dimensionals.

The sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings was stamped on scrap Very vanilla in Basic Gray ink and trimmed out using scissors. I added a trio of Woven Threads Sequins to complete the card.

I hope you like it. Please hop on to see what the other bloggers have to share with us today
