Splish Splash Whale for the Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Splish Splash’ – such fun. I have chosen to make a sweet card splish, splash whale card using the Whale Builder Punch and Whale done stamp set.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the splish, splash whale card, you will need:

Just Jade card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Shaded Spruce card – 5⅜” by 3¾”
Expressions in Ink dsp – 5¼” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White

I inked the seaweed stamp with Just Jade ink and added a little Misty Moonlight ink with a Sponge Dauber before stamping onto the piece of Expressions in Ink dsp.

I added some ‘bubbles’ in 3rd generation Misty Moonlight ink.

The panel of dsp was then added to the Shaded Spruce panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and I used the same glue to add the panel to the Just Jade card base.

The whale image was inked up with Pacific Point ink and Misty Moonlight ink was added to the whale’s back with a Sponge Dauber.

The whale was then added to the card front with Dimensionals and I added a trio of 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to finish the card.

Please hop on to see what the other fabulous demos have to share with us today. Deb McDowell is next up
