Stampin' Ups! Sale-a-bration products Flowering Foils dsp and So Very Vellum used for a sweet Welcome card

Flowering Foils

Today I am sharing a sweet card made made for a new team member using the gorgeous Flowering Foils designer series paper (dsp) and the stunning So Very Vellum paper. Both of these items are part of this years Sale-A-Bration. With a £45 order you can choose either the dsp or the vellum – with a £90 order you can get both but don’t hang about as Sale-A-Bration ends today.

To recreate the Flowering Foils card you will need;

Thick Whisper White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
So Very Vellum – 5⅞” by 4⅛” – cut on the diagonal
Flowering Foils dsp
Bermuda Bay – 5 by ¼”
Bermuda bay – 5½” by ¼”
Whisper White – 3” by ¼”

I started by fussy cutting a flower from a sheet of the Flowering Foils dsp using my sharp Paper Snips. I love that this particular pattern is foiled in both rose gold and silver – so, so pretty.

The flower was coloured in using the following Blends Markers – Pool Party combo, Soft Sea Foam combo, Daffodil Delight combo and light Bermuda Bay.

Taking the Thick Whisper White card base I added a panel of the diagonally cut So Very Vellum card stock using a Snail at the top where the flower would hide it.

I added the shorter Bermuda Bay strip above the  vellum piece using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The coloured flower was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I added some dots in Bermuda Bay ink using a stamp from the Dressed to Impress stamp set as I felt the white above the flower was too stark.

The sentiment from the Welcome to the Team stamp set was stamped in Bermuda Bay ink onto the thin strip of Whisper White. This was then trimmed down before being added to the card with the liquid adhesive. I finished the card with a scattering of Iridescent Sequins.

Such a pretty card, I hope you like it.
