The Friendly Gnome stamp set and the Tree Rings Dies and Hybrid Embossing Folder by Stampin' Up! used to make a pretty gnome themed card

Friendly Gnome card

I have been playing with the new Friendly Gnomes stamp set, combining it with the Tree Rings Hybrid Dies and Embossing Folder to make a sweet card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the friendly gnome card, you will need:

Thick Very Vanilla card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Soft Suede card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Dandy Designs dsp – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Very Vanilla, Old Olive & Soft Suede

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the Dandy Designs dsp to the Soft Suede panel and then to the Thick Very Vanilla card base.

I clipped the Tree Rings Die into the Tree Rings Embossing Folder and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with a 5⅞” by 4⅛” panel of Soft Suede card. Love that this die cuts and embosses at the same time.

Using the same embossing folder I embossed some scrap Very Vanilla card then die cut the inner piece for the tree ring I wanted. I used a Blending Brush to add some Crumb Cake ink to the Very Vanilla piece and glued it to the tree ring being careful to line up the notches. This was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

Using the Gnome Dies I cut a trio of grasses from scrap Old Olive card and added them to the card front.
