Frosty the Snowman card for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are sharing projects inspired by Songs of the Season. I have chosen ‘Frosty the Snowman’ and used the Snowman Magic stamp set to make my card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the frosty the snowman card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Shaded Spruce card – 4¾” by 3¼”
Orchid Oasis card – 4⅝” by 3⅛”
Basic White card – 4½” by 3”
Basic White card – ¼” strip
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White, Shaded Spruce & Soft Suede

Using Pool Party ink, I stamped the stars around the edge of the Pool Party card front.

I inked up the Rays of Light stamp set with Pool Party ink and stamped it down onto the smaller panel of Basic White card.

The snowman was stamped in Basic Gray ink onto scrap Basic White card. I added the face in Basic Gray and the buttons were stamped in Orchid Oasis ink. Also, on scrap Basic White I stamped the hat in Orchid Oasis ink. The snowman and hat were then die cut using the Snowman Dies.

Using the same dies I cut a tree from scrap Shaded Spruce and twiggy arms from scrap Soft Suede card. I added Dimensionals to the back of the snowman positioning them to secure the twiggy arms and hat. The snowman was then added to the stamped panel.

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I glued the decorated layer to the Orchid Oasis panel, then to the Shaded Spruce layer and then to the Pool Party card front.

The sentiment was stamped in Orchid Oasis ink onto the strip of Basic White card, the end was flagged and the sentiment added to the card front.

A trio of Iridescent Rhinestones completed the card.

Please hop on to see what seasonal music has inspired my fellow crafters. Next up is the talented Annette Ball.
