The Home & Garden Stamp set and co-ordinating Garden Dies by Stampin' Up! used to make a pretty garden trellis themed card

Garden Trellis card

Here is a great card featuring a garden trellis and made using the retiring Home & Garden stamp set and Garden Dies.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the garden trellis card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛”
Rich Razzelberry card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
Cinnamon Cider – ⅛” strip
Scrap – Basic White, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Rich Razzelberry & Silver
½ a paper lattice

I embossed the smaller panel of Basic White card using the Brick and Mortar Embossing Folder. The embossed panel was then glued to the Rich Razzelberry panel using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The whole piece was glued to the Crumb Cake card base.

The trowel and spade from the Home & Garden stamp set, were stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink onto scrap Rich Razzelberry card. They were die cut using the Garden Dies. I also die cut the bottom of the spade and trowel and a hook from Silver card. The hook was glued to the Cinnamon Cider strip and the silver pieces to the spade and trowel.

The fern was die cut from scrap Old Olive card and the grasses from scrap Pear Pizzazz card. All these pieces were added to the card front with liquid glue. A sweet new home card made using the Hearts Come Home stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Hearts Come Home

Today I am sharing a card I made, using the Hearts Come Home stamp set, for my nephew and his fiancée who have just bought their first house. Although this set is technically a Christmas themed the houses work so well for a new home card.

I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock measuring 3¼” by 2¼“and stamped the houses in a row using Merry Merlot ink. I added a tree either side with Shaded Spruce ink.

Using the Big Shot and the Layering Ovals Dies I cut out the stamped image. I then die cut a slightly larger scalloped oval from Shaded Spruce cardstock. I glued the 2 pieces together with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and set aside.

I ran a strip of Merry Merlot cardstock measuring 5⅞” by 1”through the Big Shot with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder and added it to the front of a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The stamped oval was added over top of the embossed Merry Merlot strip on Stampin’ Dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink onto a ¼” strip of Granny Apple Green and added with Multipurpose Adhesive.

This is a really simple but effective card.
