A Woo-Hoo, congratulations card made using the 'It's a Science' stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Woo-hoo, congratulations card

I love the ‘It’s a Science’ stamp set and have used it to make a woo-hoo, congratulations card for a friend.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the woo-hoo card, you will need:

Pebbled Path card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞
Boho Blue card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾”
Moody Mauve card – 4⅛” by 2½”
Basic White card – 4⅛” by 2½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

Using Boho Blue ink, I stamped the 2 chemical symbols onto the Boho Blue panel. I had mounted them both onto the same block to make this quicker. The panel was then glued to the 5⅝” by 3⅞ panel of Basic White card and then to the Pebbled Path card base.

The sentiment, from the Charming Sentiments stamp set was stamped in Boho Blue ink onto the bottom of the label.

The microscope was stamped above the sentiment using Pebbled Path ink. I added the bubbles across the top using the same ink.

A card made for a team training swap and based on a sketch using the It's a Science stamp set and Masterfully Made dsp by Stampin' Up

It’s A Science Team Training Swap card

Today I am sharing the swap cards made for our recent team training event. We were asked to make 6 identical cards based on a sketch provided by our lovely team leader – Mikaela Titheridge. I used the microscope from the It’s a Science stamp set and the gorgeous Masterfully Made designer Series Paper to make my card.

Colours used to make this card;

To recreate the microscope card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Lemon Lime Twist card – 4¼” by 3⅞”
Masterfully Made dsp – 5¼” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 2½” by 2½”
Lost Lagoon card – 2¾” by ½”

Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the Lemon Lime Twist card to the front of the Thick Basic White card bas.

A card using the 2023 - 2025 In Colors and It's a Science stamp setby Stampin' Up! made for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

It’s A Science card

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using the 2023 – 2025 In Colors. I have used the It’s A Science stamp set to make a card for my son in law who is a chemical engineering graduate.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the it’s a science card, you will need:

Boho Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Wild Wheat card – 2½” by 2½” – cut in half diagonally
Basic White card – 2¾” by 2¾” – cut in half diagonally

Using the wood plank image from the Lazy Days stamp set I stamped along the bottom of the smaller Basic White panel.

Having lined the images of the microscope and beakers up on my grid paper, making sure the bottoms lined up and picked them up using the I block – the microscope did stick out over the top but stamped well. I inked up the images with Pebbled Path ink and stamped it onto the smaller panel of Basic White panel above the wood planks.

Using the Blends Alcohol Pens I coloured in the images, I used the color lifter to add ‘light’ to the beakers.

I added Pebbled Path ink to the bottom of the panel using a Blending Brush and another brush to add Boho Blue ink to the top and sides of the same panel.

The triangles of Wild Wheat were then glued to the upper left and lower right corners of the stamped panel. The Basic White triangles were added next and the whole piece was mounted onto the Boho Blue card base on Dimensionals.
