Rings of Love card for the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Kylie Bertucci Demonstrator Blog Hop where we are sharing thank you cards made for our customers. I have used the gorgeous Rings of Love Designer Series Paper.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Rings of Love thank you card, you will need:

Thick Very Vanilla card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Very Vanilla card – 5⅜ by 3⅝”
Distressed Gold card – 3½” by 3½”
Rings of Love designer Series Paper (dsp)

Like many others I used to hate fussy cutting with a passion. I have however, discovered that the more you do it the easier it becomes and I spent a happy evening fussy cutting leaves and acorns from the sheets of the Rings of Love dsp.

I nested two of the Stylish Shapes Dies together and used them to die cut a circle frame from the Distressed Gold card.

The sentiment from the Cup of Tea Stamp set, was stamped onto the panel of Very Vanilla in Soft Suede ink and the distressed gold frame added on Mini Dimensionals. The overhanging edge was trimmed off.

Using the Sweet Heart dies, I die cut the adorable little envelope from a scrap of the dsp and adhered the sides and bottom together with a Mini Glue Dot. I also die cut a circle, using the Layering Circle dies from the square of Basic White and added the envelope with liquid glue.

The sentiment was stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink onto scrap Basic White card and trimmed down with Scissors to fit in the envelope. I used the Detailed Trio Corner Punch to round the top edges of the sentiment.

A heart from the Sweet Conversations stamp set was stamped in Flirty Flamingo ink and fussy cut out using Scissors. It was tucked under the small envelope and held in place with a dab of glue. The circle was then added to the card front, over the ribbon, on Dimensionals.
