Brilliant Rainbow in the Clouds for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on. I have chosen to share a cheerful rainbow in the clouds thank you card made using the Brilliant Rainbow Dies.

Colours used in this project are

To recreate the brilliant rainbow in the clouds card, you will need:

Magenta Madness card – 4⅛” by 3⅛”
Beauty of the Earth dsp – 4” by 3”
Scrap Basic White, Magenta Madness, Mango Melody, Pacific Point & Granny Apple Green

I punched lots of clouds from scrap Basic White card using the Cloud Punch and glued them, randomly across the Thick Basic White card front. I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I trimmed off the overhanging pieces with Scissors.

A birthday card featuring a row of rainbow lollies and made using the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set by Stampin' Up!

Rainbow Lollies

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Showcase Blog Hop.  Today I am sharing a sweet rainbow lollies birthday card made using the gorgeous Sweet Ice Cream stamp set and some rainbow colours. I am so ready for warmer weather, aren’t you?

To recreate the rainbow lolly card, you will need:

Thick Whisper White – 8” by 8” – scored at 4” – Rounded upper left corner
Granny Apple Green – 7½” by 3½” – Rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 7¼” by 3¼” – Rounded upper left corner
Scrap Whisper White

I began by stamping the lolly sticks using Crumb Cake ink. I started with the one in the middle and worked outwards.

Using Daffodil Delight ink, I inked up both parts of the lolly and stamped them above the lolly stick. The next lolly was stamped with Poppy Parade ink, then a Granny Apple Green ink, then Balmy Blue ink and finally Highland Heather ink. They got slightly bigger as I went along the row……….

I wrapped a length of the gorgeous glittery Fine Art Ribbon around the bottom of the stamped layer securing it on the back with Sellotape. The stamped layer was the added to the Granny Apple Green layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment from the Many Messages stamp set in Early Espresso ink onto scrap Whisper White and die cut it out using the Messages Dies and my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I added it to the card front using the same liquid adhesive.

To complete the card, I added a scattering of Champagne Rhinestones and a bow using the same ribbon and a Mini Glue Dot. I love it.
