Cake Soiree Treats

I made these gorgeous little triangular treat boxes as table gifts for the ladies coming to classes this month.

Method

I took a piece of Whisper White cardstock 5¼” by 5”. Using my Simply Scored Scoring Tool and Stylus I scored on the long side at ½ , 1¾ ”, 3”, 4¼” and 4⅜”. I then put a small notch at 2⅜” at the top and the bottom of the cardstock. I rotated the cardstock 90⁰ and scored at 1” and 4” on the short side.

Taking the stylus and a steel ruler I scored from the notch to each of the scored corners forming a triangle.

Using a sharp pair of scissors I trimmed as shown in the picture. I rounded the 4 main corners using a We Are Memory Keepers corner rounder.

I chose 4 of the smaller floral images from the Cake Soiree Stamp set and stamped them randomly all over the cardstock then folded and burnished all the score lines as shown.

I added Fast Fuse to the 4 tabs, stuck the box together and pinched the front and back together at the top to give the lovely triangular sides to the box. I added a mini Toblerone to each box, tucked in the ⅞” flap and brought the other flap over the top.

I wrapped an 8” piece of Silver ⅜” Metallic-Edged ribbon around the box and tied a piece of Silver Baker’s Twine around to hold the ribbon in place.

Such a pretty little box and perfect for a mini treat.
