A welcome to the team card made using Stampin' Up! products

Bee Welcome

Today I am sharing a sweet bee welcome card made to welcome a new member to our team. I love this stamp set and will be sorry to see it retire in a couple of weeks. The card was inspire by one I saw on Pinterest made by Jackie Bolhuis of Kompen Stampers.

To recreate the bee welcome card you will need:

Smoky Slate card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Basic Black – 5⅜” by 2½” – rounded upper right corner
Pineapple Punch – 5¼” by 3⅜” – rounded upper right corner
Basic Black – 3⅜” by ⅝”
Whisper White – 3⅜” by ½”
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner

I stamped the bees randomly up the left side of the Pineapple Punch layer in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I stamped the bee on scrap Whisper White and cut it out using the Detailed Bee die. I coloured the strips with the dark Pineapple Punch Blends Pen. I added some Clear Wink of Stella to the wings to complete the card.

Sweetly Swirled and Beautiful Bouquet stamp sets make a pretty welcome to the team card

Sweetly Swirled & Beautiful Bouquet for a new team member

Today I am sharing a sweet card made to welcome a new team member. I wanted the card to be bright and cheerful and chose to use the Sweetly Swirled stamp set, the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and the demo only stamp set – Stamping Your Way To The Top.

To Recreate the Welcome to the Team card you will need;

Lovely Lipstick card base 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Pineapple Punch 5½” by 3¾”
Whisper White 5⅜” by 3⅝” x 2

I began by stamping the swirly frame from the Sweetly Swirled stamp set in Gray Granite ink onto one of the Whisper White panels. The sentiment from the Stamping Your Way To the Top stamp set in Lovely Lipstick ink in the centre of the circle.

I stamped some of the flowers from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set onto scrap Whisper White cardstock using Lovely Lipstick ink, Flirty Flamingo ink and Pineapple Punch ink. I die cut the flowers using the co-ordinating Bouquet Bunch dies.

I laid the die cut flowers around the swirly circle, roughly where I wanted them. I lifted the flowers and stamped the  leaves in Granny Apple Green ink.

The flowers were then added using either Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive or Dimensionals. I stamped a few more of the tiny Pineapple Punch flowers to fill out the floral groups. I finished by adding a trio of Iridescent Sequins.

I stamped the flowers and leaf onto the remaining panel of Whisper White and glued it inside the card. The same images were stamped on the front of the envelope.
