Balmy Christmas card

I have used the pretty Wisteria Wishes stamp set and a bit of masking to make a balmy Christmas card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the balmy Christmas card, you will need:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Shaded Spruce card – 4⅝” by 3⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4½” by 3” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Balmy Blue & Basic White card

I took a piece of copy paper and tore a wavy line from side to side. I then moved the copy paper down the page adding Balmy Blue ink along the edge with a Blending Brush to create the illusion of snowbanks.

I then used the copy paper to mask off the snow banks whilst I stamped the ‘trees’ in Shaded Spruce ink.

The stamped panel was glued to the Shaded Spruce panel with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I wrapped a length of Glittered Organdy Ribbon around the 5” by 3⅜” piece of Basic White card and tied a bow on the right side. The stamped panel was then added with liquid glue and the whole panel was mounted onto the Balmy Blue card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Snowman Magic stamp set was stamped on scrap Basic White card in Balmy Blue ink and die cut using the Holly Berry Dies. I die cut the same label form scarp Balmy Blue card. Cut it in half and added it to the back of the stamped label. The label was the glued to the card front and a trio of Iridescent Pearls completed the card.
