A gorgeous pastel Christmas card featuring a subtle yummy gingerbread house

Subtle Yummy Gingerbread House Card

Here is another card made using the sweet Yummy Gingerbread House Christmas stamp set and some subtle, pastel colours.

To recreate the Subtle Yummy Gingerbread House Christmas card you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Basic Black 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner
Follow Your Art dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Scrap Whisper White

The Follow Your Art dsp was glued to the Basic Black layer with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. This layer was then added to the Crumb Cake card base with the same adhesive.

I stamped the gorgeous gingerbread house onto scrap Whisper White cardstock using Early Espresso ink and die cut it out using the Cuckoo Clock dies. Using the same ink I stamped and die cut a tree from the Cuckoo For You stamp set.

The images were coloured using the following Blends Markers – Crumb Cake combo, So Saffron combo, Shaded Spruce combo, Purple Posy combo, Mint Macaron combo, Smoky Slate combo, Pool Party combo, Petal Pink combo & Flirty Flamingo combo.

The coloured images were adhered to the card front on Dimensionals. I stamped the sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink onto scrap Whisper White cardstock and trimmed it out with sharp scissors and adhered it to the card front.

I added a little Wink of Stella to the snowy roof forgetting that I had stamped the image with water based ink so it ran a little……ho hum…..

I love the look of the pastel gingerbread house. I hope you like it.

Yummy Christmas stamp set by Stampin' Up!makes a cute Christmas card

Yummy Christmas

Today I am sharing a sweet card made using the Yummy Christmas stamp set and scraps of Wrapped in Plaid designer series paper (dsp).

To recreate the Yummy Christmas Trees card you will need:

Shaded Spruce – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic Black – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner
Whisper White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner x 2
Scrap Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler

I stamped the trees in Early Espresso ink on scrap Whisper White cardstock and die cut them out using the Cuckoo Clock dies. They were coloured in using the following Blends Markers – Shaded Spruce combo, Soft Suede combo, light Cherry Cobbler and dark Mango Melody. The trees were then mounted to a 2” Whisper White circle punched out with a 2” circle punch, one with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive and the other on Dimensionals. This circle was then added to a Cherry Cobbler circle punched out using the Starburst Punch using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I choose 2 left over strips of the gorgeous Wrapped in Plaid dsp. I flagged the ends of both strips and glued them to one of the Whisper White panels. The circle piece was added with the liquid adhesive.

I punched a circle from a PostIt note using the 1¼” Circle Punch and adhered it to the upper part of a Whisper White panel. Using a piece of Sponge I inked the top ⅔rds of the panel using Seaside Spray ink. I used another piece of sponge to add a little Crumb Cake ink to the bottom of the panel.
