Oceanfront Picture for the Crafty Collaborations Home Decor Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop where we are share home décor projects. I am sharing a picture made using the gorgeous Oceanfront stamp set, can’t seem to stop using this versatile stamp set, I just love it.

Colours used in this project are:

In the Moment for the Colour Combo Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Colour Combo Blog Hop where I have made an In The Moment card using the colours given:

To these I added:

To recreate the in the moment card, you will need:

Pale Papaya card base – 8 ¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper right corner x 2 – one for the inside
2021 – 2023 In Color dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper right corner
Gorgeous Grape card – 3⅛ by 3” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 3” by 2⅞” – rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 2½” by ½”

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the piece of 2021 – 2023 In Color dsp to one of the larger Basic White card panels. Wrapped a piece of Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon around the panel before adding it to the Pape Papaya card base.

The image from the In the Moment stamp set was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the smaller panel of Basic White card.

I stamped the same image onto a piece of 2021 – 2023 In Color dsp and a piece of Simply Marbleous dsp and fussy cot the ladies top from one and the cushions from the other. These were then paper pieced into position using the Liquid Glue.

Her trousers were coloured using Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers and I used the Gorgeous Grape Stamp ‘n Write Marker to colour in her belt and hair clip. The decorated panel was then added to the Gorgeous Grape panel with liquid glue and then to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink onto the strip of Basic White card and this was tucked under the main panel. I added a bow and a trio of Red Rhinestones to finish the card.

I love how it turned out; paper piecing has got to be one of my favourite techniques.
