A trio of pots of blooming cacti and made for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop using the Cactus Cuties stamp set

Cactus Cuties card for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge and I have made a sweet card using the Cactus Cuties stamp set.

I added Basic White to the colours we were given:

To recreate the cactus cuties card, you will need:

Blushing Bride card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Blushing Bride card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾”
Garden Green card – 4⅛” by 2⅞”
Basic White card – 3⅞” by 2⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

I ran the panel of Blushing Bride card through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine in the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder. I wrapped a length of Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon around the layer before adding it to the Blushing Bride card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

I mixed up the colours and began adding the pieces of the rainbows to the top of the card panel. The completed panel was added to the slightly larger Basic White panel. The whole piece was added to the Granny Apple Green card front on Dimensionals.

The Crafty Challenge Blog Hop features a card made using the Let's Set Sail stamp set and Sailboat Builder Punch

Let’s Set Sail for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge. The colours we have been given are:

To recreate the Let’s Set Sail card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4¼” by 2¼”
Scrap Basic White card

Using the Tailor-Made Tag Dies I cut a tag from the panel of Basic White card. I stamped the long ‘water’ image at the bottom of the tag in 2nd generation Coastal Cabana ink.

The ‘sky’ was added with a Blending Brush and the clouds with a Sponge Dauber and a piece of torn copy paper and Coastal Cabana ink. I added birds to the top of the tag using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I stamped the parts of the sailboat in Coastal Cabana, Flirty Flamingo and Highland Heather ink and punched them out with the Sailboat Builder Punch. This gave me pieces for 3 boats. The boat was added on Mini Dimensionals.
