Bauble cards – Christmas Stampathon

The cards I am sharing were made for the Christmas Stampathon where our theme is ‘embossing’. I have used the new Bauble Blooms Dies with the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder to make my cards.

Colours used to make these cards are:

To recreate the bauble cards, you will need:

Thick Basic White card bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Matting layer – 4⅝” by 3⅛” – I chose 2 in Real Red and 2 in Shaded Spruce
Basic White card – 4½” by 3” x 4
Basic White card – 3½” by 3” x 4
Scrap Basic White, Shaded Spruce, Mossy Meadow and Silver Foil

I used a Blending Brush to add Coastal Cabana ink to the centre of the 4½” by 3” panels of Basic White card. I before gluing the inked layers to the Real Red and Shaded Spruce panels I adhered a piece of Silver cord from my stash to the front and the back using Tear & Tape. The whole piece was then glued to the Thick Basic White card fronts.

From the 3½” by 3” pieces of Basic White card I die cut 4 stitched baubles using the Bauble Bloom Dies. The die cut pies were then embossed using the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder.

To add colour to the baubles I dragged a Real Red or Shaded Spruce ink pad over the raised embossing.

Using the same Bauble Dies I die cut bauble tops from scrap Silver Foil and glued them in position. The bauble was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals. Small leafy sprays were die cut from scrap Shaded Spruce and Mossy Meadow card. These were then glued to the baubles,

The sentiment, from the Bauble Blooms stamp set were stamped in both Real Red and Shaded Spruce onto scrap Basic White card. I cut down each word and added the words to the card front.
