Butterfly’s Card

Here is a pretty butterfly’s themed card made using the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the butterfly’s card, you will need:

Petal Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅞” by 2⅛”
Highland Heather card – 5⅞” by ⅜” x 2
Darling Duckling card – 4 ½” by ⅜” x 2
Secret Sea card – 1⅜” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

I stamped the butterfly image from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set along the strip of Basic White card using Secret Sea ink.

Using the following Blends Pens I coloured in the butterflies – Timid Tiger, Lemon Lolly, Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, Highland Heather and Gray Granite.

The strips of Highland Heather card were glued to the top and bottom of the stamped panel. I added the smaller strips of Darling Duckling card. These had been embossed using the Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder for another project, but I ended up not using them. Love to use left over pieces.

A piece of Gray Granite Baker’s twine was wrapped around the panel, secured on the back with Sellotape. The whole panel was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto the small piece of Secret Sea card. I covered it with white embossing powder and set it using my Heat Tool before adding it to the card front.

I added some dottage to the card front using Petal Pink ink and added a trio of Starburst Sequins and a Twine bow to finish the card.
