A pretty, staggered line of trees themed card made using the Scenic Adventure stamp set and strips of card from Stampin' Up!

Staggered Line of Trees Card

Here is a pretty card inspired by one I saw made by Wendy Lee of Creativeleeyours. I used the same Scenic Adventure stamp set but altered the measurements to accommodate our A4 cardstock.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the staggered line of trees card, you will need:

Cloud Cover card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Pretty Peacock card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Balmy Blue card – 3⅛” by 1”
Cloud Cover card – 3⅛” by ½”
Pool Party card – 3” by ⅞”
Coastal Cabana card – 2⅞” by ¾”
Summer Splash card – 2⅞” by ⅝”
Lost lagoon card – 3” by ¾”
Basic White card – 5 ¼” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

The six pieces of coloured card were laid the out on my grid paper until I was happy with the positioning. They were originally longer, and some were wider, and I cut them down as I moved them around.

A pretty 'that-a-way' fun fold Christmas card made using the Festive Friends stamp set and dies from Stampin' Up!

Snowman That-a-Way card

This adorable snowman that-a-way card was inspired by a video made by the Tatted Stamper showcasing the ‘that-a-way’ fun fold and I just had to try it using the pretty snowman from the Festive Friends stamp set.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the snowman that-a-way card, you will need:

Thick Basic Card Base – 11½” by 4” – scored at 5¼”
Beautiful Bokeh dsp – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White and Granny Apple Green

With a pencil, lightly mark the card front at 2” on the short side then cut from the 2” mark to the centre scoreline on the right. Repeat the cut on the left side to leave a pointed card front. Place the 2 cut pieces together, face down, to form a triangle and use Sellotape to adhere the pieces together.

Mikaela’s CASE’d card

Today I have CASEd a card designed by my lovely team leader Mikaela Titheridge. This was one of the cards Mikaela showcased in her OnStage presentation using the adorable Attention Shoppers bundle. I have changed the colour palette and modified the design to make it my own.

CASE a card for the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are CASEing a demonstrator. Caseing means copy and share or copy and selectively edit a design created by someone else. I have chosen to case a design by Su Mohr changing the dsp and the stamp set.

Here is Su’s original design.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the CASE a wreath card, you will need:

Garden Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded lower left corner
Real Red card – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded lower left corner
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded lower left corner
Sweetest Christmas dsp – 5 ½” by 2”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Scrap Basic White card

I used the zig zag die from the Basic Borders dies set to shape the top and the bottom of the strip of Sweetest Christmas dsp. Using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, I glued the strip to one of the Basic White panels. The Basic White layer was then glued to the Real Red panel and then to the Garden Green card base.

The wreath was stamped in Garden Green ink onto the Basic White square and die cut it out using the Country Cottage Dies.

The sentiment, from the Leaves of Holly stamp set was stamped in the centre piece of the wreath in Real Red Ink. The wreath was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals. The sentiment was inlaid into the centre of the wreath.

Throwback card for the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where our theme is ‘Throwback’ – to recreate an old project of our own or someone else’s. I have chosen to recreate a card I made for this same blog hop back in charge and turn it into a Christmas card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the throwback card, you will need:

Real Red card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Cherry Cobbler card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Boughs of Holly dsp – ⅜” strips x 2
Basic White card – ¼” strip
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Boughs of Holly dsp

I embossed the smaller panel of Basic White card using the Fern 3D Embossing Folder and glued it to the Cherry Cobbler panel with Multicoloured Liquid Adhesive. The same glue was used to add the panel to the Real Red card front.
