A trio of cards for my May 2025 classes using the Sunrise Sailing stamp set, Hybrid Embossing Folder and Dies from Stampin' Up!

Sunrise Sailing Classes

Today I am sharing the cards I designed for my May 2025 classes using the Sunrise Sailing stamp set, embossing folder and dies.

Colours used to make these cards are:

Arched card

Blueberry Bushel card – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White – 5” by 3¾” x 2
Basic White – 2⅛” by ⅜”
Coastal Cabana – 4⅛ by 1⅛” x 2
Scrap Basic White

Using the largest arch from the Everyday Arches Dies I cut the Blueberry Bushel card base. The trick is to place the die with the left-hand cutting edge overhanging the fold of the card front. I also die cut 2 smaller arches form the 5” by 3¾” panels of Basic White card saving one for the inside of the card.

Blueberry Bushel ink was lightly added to the remaining white arch using a Blending Brush.

From the 2 strips of Coastal Cabana card we die cut the wavy edges and adhered them to bottom of the inked arch, one above the other to form the sea.

The boat was stamped on scrap Basic White card using Blueberry Bushel ink, the inside colour added to the sails with Poppy Parade ink and the boat body stamped with Coastal Cabana ink. The boat was then die cut using the Sunrise Sailing Dies. We also die cut a couple of clouds from the same scrap card.

The boat was then mounted onto the decorated arch on Dimensionals. The clouds were added flat and the excess trimmed off. The birds were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The arch was then glued to the card front.

The sentiment, from the Darling Dinos was stamped in Blueberry Bushel ink onto scrap Basic White card. I trimmed it down and added it to the card front.

Embossed Sailboat card

Poppy Parade card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Blueberry Bushel – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White – 2⅛” by ⅜”
Basic White – 3” by 2½”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

Blueberry Bushel ink was lightly added above the sea using a Blending Brush and a trio of birds were added with Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The panel was then glued to the Blueberry Bushel layer and then to the Coastal Cabana card front.

Treat Pouches – Stamping With Friends Blog hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing anything but a card. I have chosen to share the treat pouches made for my November class attendees using the Reindeer Days and Snowy Scenes dsp.

To recreate the treat pouch, you will need.

6” by 6” dsp
Scrap Basic White card

I placed my square of dsp onto my Simply Scored Scoring Tool with points at the top and bottom and points on the left and right. I placed the left point and the top point at the 4¼” marks and scored on the left at 1½”

The square was rotated so that the 1 ½” scored line was at the bottom. The top and bottom points were lined up at the 6” point at the dsp was then scored at 4¾” and 7¼”. I cut away the small triangle of card where the lines cross. I then folded and burnished on all the scorelines.
