The Ringed With Nature by Stampin' Up! used to make a pretty new home card

New Home card

The new home card I am sharing today was made using the Ringed with Nature stamp set which will be available in the July – Dec Mini Catalogue for the 1st July. I saw the stamp set and realised the sweet little house image would be perfect for the card I wanted to make for my ex-neighbours. They moved into rented accommodation last Autumn having sold their own house. They have now found a house near their children and are moving into their new home next month.

Colours used for this project are:

To recreate the new home card, you will need:

Pool Party card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Basic Gray card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5 ¼” by 3 ½”
Starry Sky card – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – 3” by 3”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

Using a Blending Brush, I applied Pool Party ink to the scrap piece of Basic White card.

Stampin' Up!'s Simply Fabulous stamp set and Fern 3D Embossing Folder used to make a pretty fabulous fern floral card

Fabulous Fern card

This card was made for one of my lovely team members using the Simply Fabulous stamp set. Every month team members are rewarded for sales and recruiting with a voucher and this team mate has chosen to trade hers in for the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. This Fabulous Fern card was made especially for her.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the fabulous fern card, you will need:

Polished Pink card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Granny Apple Green – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3¼” – rounded upper left corner
Granny Apple Green card – 3¼” by ⅞”
Basic White card – 3 ¼” by ¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded upper left corner – for the inside

Firstly, I chose my sentiment from the Simply Fabulous stamp set. I worked out what size strip I needed to stamp it on and then used a ruler to draw faint lines across the 5” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card where I planned to place the sentiment.

A tulip fun fold card made for mother's day using Stampin' Up! products for the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Tulips Fun Fold card or the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations blog hop where we are sharing fun fold cards. I have used the gorgeous Tulip Dies to make mine.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the Tulip fun fold card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at
Pattern Party dsp – 5¾” by 1”
Flirty Flamingo card – 4½” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 4¼” by 3”
Flirty Flamingo card – 5⅞” by 1”
So Saffron card – 5⅞” by ⅛”
Flirty Flamingo card – 5¾” by 4”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 3⅞”
Pattern Party dsp – 5⅝” by ¼”
Basic White ¼” strip
Scrap So Saffron, Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green & Basic White

I began by running the Thick Basic White card base through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the larger front panel inside the Ornate Floral Embossing Folder. I really wanted the front to have a lot of texture and this is a great way of achieving this.

The thicker strip of Pattern Party dsp was glued to the smaller front panel. The Flirty Flamingo strip was added to the embossed card front panel and the thin strip of So Saffron added to soften the edge.

The inner Basic White and So Saffron pieces were added to the Flirty Flamingo pieces with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The Flirty Flamingo outer layers were then folded over and held in place with Mini Dimensionals to give a real 3D effect. Gorgeous.

The leaves also had a Mini Dimensional added in the centre so that they weren’t flat to the card. The whole panel was then added to the card front making sure to add my glue only to the right-hand side.

Using the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, I embossed one of the Basic White panels with the Bark Embossing Folder. The embossed layer was glued to the Early Espresso panel and a length of Flirty Flamingo Ribbon wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Sellotape. The whole piece was then added to the Flirty Flamingo card front.
