Adventure Begins Card – Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing congratulations graduate cards. I have made my card using the Scenic Adventure stamp set and dies.

Colours used to make this card are:

 

To recreate the adventure begins card, you will need:

Balmy Blue card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Secret Sea card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Cloud Cover card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Secret Sea card – 1½” by ¼”
Scrap Balmy Blue, Shaded Spruce, Mossy Meadow, Gray Granite & Pecan Pie

 

Using the cloud image, I stamped across the top of the Cloud Cover panel with Cloud Cover ink.

I die cut the mountain from scrap Gray Granite and Pecan Pie card. I adhered them together with the Pecan Pie behind. These were glued to the Cloud Cover panel and the excess trimmed off.

The row of trees was die cut from scrap Shaded Spruce card and the piece was added below the mountains and the excess trimmed off. The pair of trees were die cut from scrap Mossy Meadow card and added on Dimensionals to the panel.

I embossed the scrap Balmy Blue card with the watery image and added it to the bottom of the panel and trimmed off the excess. The whole piece was glued to the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card and then to the slightly larger Secret Sea panel. The whole piece was glued to the Balmy Blue card front.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto the thin strip of Secret Sea card, covered with White Embossing Powder and set using my Heat Tool. I added it to the card front. A trio of Dappled Dots finished the card.

The inside was decorated with 2 trees stamped in Shaded Spruce ink and the sentiment added in Secret Sea ink.

Congratulations Graduate card – Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are celebrating graduations. I have used the sweet Bird’s Eye View stamp set to make my card.

Colours in this card are:

 

To recreate the congratulations card, you will need:

Azure Afternoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
Full of Life dsp – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 4¼” by 2¾”

 

I glued the panel of Full of Life dsp to one of the 5½” by 3¾” pieces of Basic White card. This panel was then added to the Azure Afternoon card base.

Using the Everyday Details Dies I die cut a rectangle from the 4¼” by 2¾” piece of Basic White card.

The images of the pile of books and the sweet bird, both from the Bird’s Eye View stamp set, were stamped onto the rectangle in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

I used the following Blends Pens to colour in the images – Balmy Blue, Azure Afternoon, Berry Burst, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate.

The sentiment came from the Light the Sky stamp set. I only wanted the word ‘congratulations’ so masked off the rest of the sentiment with a Postit Note. I inked up the word using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped it above the coloured images. The decorated rectangle was then mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

You’re A Star Graduation Card for the Stampin Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stampin Dreams Blog Hop where we are sharing projects celebration a graduation. I have made my card using star shape from the Beautiful Balloons Dies.

 

Colours used in this project are:

 

To recreate the you’re a star card, you will need:

Azure Afternoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Real Red card – 4¾” by 3”
Basic White card – 4½” by 2¾”
Basic Black card – 3” by ¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White, Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Azure Afternoon

 

I began by die-cutting the large and small stars using the dies from the Beautiful Balloons die set and scrap Daffodil Delight, Real Red and Azure Afternoon card.

The die cut stars were then laid out onto the small panel of Basic White card to work out the positioning. Once I had them arranged, I lifted them one at a time and glued them in place using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The overhanging pieces of stars were trimmed off with scissors and the layer was glued to the Real Red panel which was added to the Azure Afternoon card base on Dimensionals.

I tucked strips of Basic White, Daffodil Delight and Real Red card under the lower right-hand corner.

The sentiment, from the Charming Sentiments stamp set, was stamped in Versamark ink onto the strip of Basic Black ink, covered it with White Embossing Powder and used my Heat Tool to set it. I flagged the ends before adding it to the card front on Mini Glue Dots as I did not want to add anymore height to the card.
