A pretty paneled, floral, thank you card made suing the Gallery Blooms stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Gallery Blooms Panel Card

Today I am sharing a pretty gallery blooms panel card made using the Gallery Blooms stamp set.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the gallery bloom panel card, you will need:

Flirty Flamingo card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Lost Lagoon card – 5½” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White & Flirty Flamingo

Using Secret Sea ink I stamped the flower spray onto the smaller panel of Basic White card.

I added a little colour using the Flirty Flamingo and Lost lagoon Blends Pens. The panel was then cut into 4 pieces.

Using a Blending Brush I added Lost Lagoon ink to opposite corners of each of the panels. I then added them to the Lost Lagoon layer leaving an ⅛” around each piece.

The Lost lagoon panel was then glued to the Flirty Flamingo card front.

I stamped the sentiment from the Terrific Toadstools stamp set onto scrap Basic White card. I punched it out using a 1¼” Circle Punch. A 1⅜” Scalloped Circle was punched out and added behind the sentiment.

Loops of White Baker’s Twine were added to the centre of the card front and the sentiment was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

A trio of Purple Sequins from my stash finished the card.

Scenic Christmas cards – Christmas Stampathon

Today I am sharing the cards made for the May 2025 Christmas Stampathon challenge where our theme is ‘different sized card’.

Colours used to make my cards are:

Basic White

Cloud Cover

Shaded Spruce

To recreate the scenic Christmas cards, you will need:

Thick Basic White card bases – 6” by 3” scored at 3”
Basic White card – 3¼” by 3¼”

I punched a 2” Circle from the centre of the square of Basic White card and placed this over the 3” card front to act as a mask.

Using a small Blending Brush I swirl some Cloud Cover ink into the space left by the punched circle. The mask was then removed.

The medium sized tree was stamped in Shaded Spruce ink overlapping the inked circle.

I stamped the sentiment, from the Humble Home stamp set onto the card front with Shaded Spruce ink

Humble Home cards – Christmas Stampathon

Here are the cards I have designed for the April Christmas Stampathon challenge where our theme is ‘Sparkle & Shine’. I have used the Humble Home Builder Punch and the 2024 – 2026 In Color Glimmer Paper to make my card.

I punched houses from scrap Basic White card and from 24 – 2026 In Color Glimmer Paper, two white and one glimmer for each card.

The sentiment was stamped in Shy Shamrock ink onto one of the Basic White houses for each card. The two white houses were then adhered at either end of the 5⅞” by 2⅝” piece of Basic White card.

I added the Glimmer house between the white houses raised up on Dimensionals.

The strips of Glimmer Paper were added to the top and bottom of the decorated Basic White strips. The whole piece was then glued to the Thick Basic White card base.

Terrific Toadstools Card – Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are being inspired by a dice roll. We must create a project using pearls, regals, horizontal, thank you and sponging. I have used the adorable Terrific Toadstool stamp set and Punch.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the Toadstool card, you will need:

Garden Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Garden Green card – 5¾” by 3¾”
Basic White card – 3½” by 3½”
Cherry Cobbler card – 3¾” by 1¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White card

I embossed the Garden Green panel using the Corrugated Embossing Folder and glued it to the Garden Green card front.

From the square of Basic White card, I die cut a stitched circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies. Using the same die set I die cut a label from the Cherry Cobbler card.

Along the bottom of the stitched circle, I stamped the ‘ground’ in 2^nd generation Old Olive ink. The toadstool stalks were then stamped in either full strength or second-generation Cajun Craze ink. The smaller mushroom top was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink and the leafy sprigs with Garden Green ink.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the medium toadstool top in Cherry Cobbler ink and punched it out using the Toadstool Punch. It was added to the card front on a Dimensional.

The die cut label was cut in half and added to the back of the stitched circle. The whole piece was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Simply Said stamp set was stamped in Cherry Cobbler ink onto scrap Basic White card. I trimmed it down and added it to the card front. A trio of Antique Pearls completed the card.

Sending a Big Hug card

Today, I have made a pretty big hug card for a friend who has been in hospital hoping it will cheer her up. I have used the Hugs for Love stamp set combined with the Bright Borders stamp set.

Colours used in this card are:

The piece of Bloom Impressions dsp was adhered to the Blackberry Bliss layer.

I added the strip of Silver Foil card to the panel and wrapped a length of Fresh Freesia Seam Binding Ribbon around layer, securing it on the back with Sellotape. The whole piece was then glued to the Fresh Freesia card base.

I stamped the label outline onto scrap Basic White card using Blackberry Bliss ink. I punched it out using the To The Point Label Punch. The flowers were coloured using Fresh Freesia and daffodil Delight Blends Pens.

The sentiment was stamped in Blackberry Bliss ink onto the label before it was mounted onto the card front on Dimensionals.

Spotlight on Saint Nick

I have used the Hexagon Punch and the Saint Nicholas stamp set to create my spotlight on Saint Nick card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the spotlight on Saint Nick card, you will need:

Moody Mauve card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Pebbled Path card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

Using Pebbled Path ink, I stamped the image of Saint Nick on the smaller panel of Basic White card.

The Hexagon Punch was used to punch out the centre of the image. The negative panel was then adhered to the Pebbled Path panel.

This centre punched panel was then coloured using the following Blends Pens – Petal Pink, Bubble Bath, Moody Mauve, Shaded Spruce, Smoky Slate & Pebbled Path. The coloured piece was then added back into the negative space on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Pebbled Path ink onto the decorated panel and the whole piece was then glued to the Moody Mauve card base.

Tiled Masterfully Made card for the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using punches. I have used the new Hexagon Punch to make a tiled card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the tiled card, you will need:

Fresh Freesia card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Berry Burst card – 4⅞” by 3⅞”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 4¼” – this was eventually cut down to 4¾” by 3¾”
Masterfully Made dsp – 5¼” by 4¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

Using the new Hexagon Punch, available for a short time in my Online Store, I carefully punched the hexagons from the panel of Masterfully Made dsp, taking care to keep them close together to preserve the pattern.

The punched hexagons were then adhered to the 5¼” by 4¼” panel of Basic White, again taking care to leave a little space between each piece.

The panel was then trimmed down, using a Paper Trimmer, to 4¾” by 3¾” and adhered to the Berry Burst layer.

The whole panel was mounted onto the Fresh Freesia card base.

The sentiment was stamped in Berry Burst ink onto scrap Basic White card. I trimmed it down with Scissors.

A strip of Tear ‘n Tape was added to the back of the sentiment and a piece of Azure Afternoon Ribbon was adhered along the bottom with the silver edging visible. I cut of the over hand and added it to the card front.

Floating & Fluttering

A sweet butterfly themed thank you card made using the Floating and Fluttering stamp set and Fluttering dies.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the Floating and Fluttering card, you will need:

Highland Heather card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Pool Party – 5¼” by 3½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White – 5” by 3¼” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White – 4” by 3¼”

I started by using a Blending Brush to apply some Pool Party ink to the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White and added some Pool Party speckles using a stamp from the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set.

The sentiment stamp from the Art Gallery stamp set was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink. The whole panel was added to the Pool Party Layer using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The large butterfly image was stuck on the plate of my Stamparatus. I inked it up with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and stamped onto the smallest piece of Basic White card. I like to use the Stamparatus so that I can stamp the image multiple times to get a really dark impression.

I used the infill stamps to add colour. Largest butterfly in Blushing Bride ink, the smallest butterfly in Highland Heather ink, the medium butterfly in So Saffron ink. All the foliage was stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink.

The stamped and coloured image was die cut using the Fluttering dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

The die cut image was added on Dimensionals to the card front. I added a trio of Pastel Pearls to complete the card.

Little Elephant stamp set and Elephant Builder Punch to make a baby card

Pink Elephants for a baby card

Today I have been making a sweet pink elephant baby card using the adorable Little Elephant stamp set and co-ordinating Elephant Builder Punch.

Making the Pink Elephant card

I began by stamping the large elephant in Flirty Flamingo ink and the small elephant in Blushing Bride ink onto scrap Whisper White cardstock and punching them out with the Elephant Builder Punch. I put them to one side.

I inked up the flower stamp using my Granny Apple Green and Flirty Flamingo Markers……….love that we can do this….. and stamped a row along the bottom of a Whisper White panel 5” by 3¼”. I added 2 banners using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, above the flowers made from the Tropical Escape dsp and added a sentiment stamped in Granny Apple Green ink onto a scrap of Whisper White.

I placed the pink elephants above the banners using Stampin’ Dimensionals and added the hearts which were coloured using the Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride markers. I rounded the upper left corner with the Detailed Trio Punch and added the panel to a layer of Flirty Flamingo cardstock having rounded the same corner. This whole piece was then glued to a Thick Whisper White card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.

The elephants were added with Stampin’ Dimensionals and I stamped an extra-large ear onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock and punched it out. It was added to the large elephant on a dimensional. I added 2 banners made from the same Tropical Escape dsp to the top of the panel and finished the card off with a scattering of Iridescent Sequins.

Such a sweet card, I hope you like it.

Country Home

Today I have been playing with the lovely Country Home stamp set and my Aquapainter. I love colouring in and using an Aquapainter and my ink pads makes this so easy.

Making the Country Home card

I cut a piece of Watercolor Paper 5” by 3½” and stamped the jug image in Momento Tuxedo Black ink in the lower right hand corner. I stamped the foliage image in the same ink on top of the jug and set the panel aside to dry.

Whilst I was waiting for the panel to try I cut a piece of Gray Granite cardstock 5⅞” by 1½”, spritzed it lightly with water and ran it through the Big Shot with the Tin Tile embossing folder. I love the great definition this folder gives.

For my colour palette I chose Gray Granite for the jug, Crumb Cake for the bulrushes, Granny Apple Green for the large leaves, Lemon Lime Twist & Daffodil Delight for the Artichoke, Mossy Meadow for the small leaves and Grapefruit Grove for the small buds. I squeezed ink into the lid of each pad and used my Aquapainter to colour in.

The sentiment was stamped in Gray Granite ink. I then wrapped a piece of Granny Apple Green ½” ribbon around the left side of the panel securing it on the back with Sellotape.

I added the Gray Granite embossed piece to the front of a Grapefruit Grove card base using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I rounded the upper right corner of the card base and the stamped watercoloured panel using the Detailed Trio Punch. The stamped panel was added over top on Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a panel of Very Vanilla cardstock measuring 5⅜” by 3⅝” to the inside of the card having stamped the tile image in Granny Apple Green ink across the bottom. I stamped the same image in the same ink down the side of a Very vanilla envelope. to the inside of the card. To finish off I added a scatter of Faceted Dots.

Such a simple, pretty card. I hope you like it.
