Scenic Adventures Classes

Today I am sharing the cards made for my September 2025 classes using the Scenic Adventures stamp set and dies. For my September classes I always try to sneak in a Christmas card design – some of my ladies think this is too early!

Colours used to make these cards are:

Window Card

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White – 5½” by 3¾” – circle die cut from the upper ⅓ using the Spotlight on Nature Dies
Basic White – 4⅛” by 3⅝”
Shaded Spruce – 3” by 1¾”
Basic White – 3” by ¾” – label die cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies
Blueberry Bushel – 3” by ¼”

We punched out a mask from a Post It Note and used a 1” Circle Punch and added it to the upper part of the 4⅛” by 3⅝” panel of Basic White card with the 4⅛” side going up and down.

Using a Blending Brush, we inked the upper ⅔’s of the Basic White panel with lightly applied Blueberry Bushel ink. Using the same technique and a different Blending Brush we added Smoky Slate ink to the bottom ⅓ of the panel and the mask was removed. I used the ‘water image stamp to add texture to the ground with 2nd generation Smoky Slate ink.

The trees were stamped to the right and left of the inked panel in 1st and 2nd generation Shaded Spruce ink. The die cut window panel was then glued to the stamped layer. You could add it with Dimensionals, but I didn’t for this class. The whole panel was then added to the Thick Basic White card front on Dimensionals.

Sunrise Sailing Classes

Today I am sharing the cards I designed for my May 2025 classes using the Sunrise Sailing stamp set, embossing folder and dies.

From the 2 strips of Coastal Cabana card we die cut the wavy edges and adhered them to bottom of the inked arch, one above the other to form the sea.

The boat was stamped on scrap Basic White card using Blueberry Bushel ink, the inside colour added to the sails with Poppy Parade ink and the boat body stamped with Coastal Cabana ink. The boat was then die cut using the Sunrise Sailing Dies. We also die cut a couple of clouds from the same scrap card.
