A sympathy card made using the Thoughtful Journey designer series paper and the Loveliest Tree stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Thoughtful Sympathy card – Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are creating with a sketch to inspire us. I have made my card using the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (dsp).

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the thoughtful sympathy card, you will need:

Misty Moonlight card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – 1 for the inside
Thoughtful Journey dsp – 5¼” by 3”
Pretty Peacock card – 2½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 2” by 2”

I used my Paper Trimmer to cut the piece of Thoughtful journey dsp into 4 strips ¾” wide.

These strips were then adhered, at different angles to one of the 5½” by 3¾” pieces of Basic White card. The whole piece was then glued to the Misty Moonlight card front. I added a small piece of Tear and tape to the card front and adhered a loop of Iridescent Stripped Ribbon.

The sentiment, from the Loveliest Tree stamp set was stamped onto the 2” by 2” piece of Basic White card and die cut it using the Stylish Shapes Dies.

A larger stitched circle was then die cut using the same set of dies from the piece of Pretty Peacock card. The 2 circles were adhered together and added to the card front on Dimensionals.
