A Trio of Striped Botanical cards

Here are a trio of striped botanical cards inspired by cards made by Dena Rekow of the Creativity Cave. I love the look of this technique and wanted to use it to make an anniversary card for my husband.

To recreate these cards, you will need:

3 card bases – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner – I used Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party & Fresh Freesia
3 Basic Black card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left corners

Randomly Stamped Pots card for the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using product from the new 2023 – 2024 Annual Catalogue. I have chosen to use the lovely Earthen Textures stamp set to make my card.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the randomly stamped pots card, you will need:

Smoky Slate card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Berry Burst card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5” by 3 ¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

The tall pot was randomly stamped in Smoky Slate ink (looks like I didn’t clean the stamp well enough as there is a pink tinge to some of the images) onto the smaller panel of Basic White card. The smaller pot was then stamped in the spaces between using Berry Burst ink.

A length of White Glittered Organdy Ribbon was wrapped around the panel and secured on the back with Seal+ adhesive. The panel was the mounted onto the Smoky Slate card front on Dimensionals.

A 2” Circle was punched from scrap Basic White card. I stamped the sentiment from the Charming Sentiments stamp set in Berry Burst ink onto the circle and added the ‘grass’ image in 2nd generation Smoky Slate ink. The circle was added to the card from using liquid glue.
