Colourful Leaves Card – Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are working with a dice roll. We were given Regals, Bling, Punch or Die Cut, Congrats and Horizontal to use to make our project. I have used the Coneflower stamp set and dies to make my colourful leaves card.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the colourful leaves card, you will need:

Garden Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped the twisted leaf from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set using the following colours – Crushed Curry, Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Gorgeous Grape, Blueberry Bushel, Pretty Peacock, Old Olive, Garden Green & Shaded Spruce

I die cut all the leaves using the Coneflower Celebrations Dies.

A Dimensional was added to the back of each leaf and before adding them to the 5¼” by 3½” panel of Basic White card working from the upper right corner to the lower left corner.

The sentiment, from the Sunrise Sailing stamp set was stamped in Garden Green ink. The whole panel was then adhered to the Garden Green card front. I deliberately left the leaves overhanging the Basic White panel.

Using the following Blends Pens I coloured in 5 Iridescent Pearls and added them to the card front – Darling Duckling (we have no Crushed Curry Blend), Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, Blueberry Bushel and Shaded Spruce. These were then scattered around the leaves on the card front.
