Notes & Totes card

Today’s card is made using the adorable Notes and Totes Dies which will be available on the 6th May in my online store. I have used the dies with the lovely Perennial Lavender dsp.

Colours in this card are:

To recreate the notes & totes card, you will need:

Shaded Spruce card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Perennial Lavender dsp – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Perennial Lavender dsp and Basic White card

The large panel of Perennial Lavender dsp was glued to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” piece of Basic White card then adhered to the Shaded Spruce card front.

Using the Notes & Dotes Dies I die cut the bag, scarf, water bottle and lotion dispenser from scrap Perennial Lavender dsp. The base, handle and straps of the bag and the top of both bottles were die cut from scrap Basic White card.

I folded the two side flaps of the bag inwards and glued them down. The tab on the bottom of the die cut bag was snipped off the bottom also adhered down. The 2 white straps were then adhered to the front of the die cut bag along the line of the seam. I had die cut these on card with some adhesive sheet applied to the reverse to make this easier. I then adhered the bottom piece and the bag handle using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. The bag was then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

The tops of both bottles were also die cut from scrap Basic White card, trimmed down and glued in position over the die cut dsp pieces. The handle of the water bottle was added with a little liquid glue. The bottles were then added to the card front on Dimensionals.
