Perennial Lavender card – Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Inkspirations Blog Hop where we are being inspired by a sketch. I have used the With You In Mind stamp set and the Perennial Lavender dsp to make my card.

 

Colours used to make this card are:

 

To recreate the perennial lavender card, you will need:

Crumb Cake card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3⅞”
Perennial Lavender designer series paper (dsp) – 5¼” by 3¾” x 2
Basic White card – 3½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

 

I placed the 2 pieces of Perennial Lavender dsp together and tore from side to side. This gives pieces for 2 cards.

 

Using my finger to rough up the tore ends of both pieces and adhered them to the 5½” by 3⅞” panel of Basic White card. I did need to trim off a little from the top of the Basic White card. The whole piece was then adhered to the Crumb Cake card base.

 

From the 3½” by 2½” panel of Basic White card I die cut a banner using the Nested Essentials Dies.

 

The sentiment, from the With You In Mind stamp set, was stamped in Gorgeous Grape ink onto the banner which was added to the card front on Dimensionals.

 

A Crumb Cake Twine bow and a trio of Starburst Sequins completed the card.
