Row of Trees Card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I have used the Blessed Beginnings stamp set to make a pretty, row of tree themed note card.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the row of trees card, you will need:

Lemon Lime Twist card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at on the long side at 4⅛”
Pecan Pie card – 5⅞” by 2⅞”
Basic White card – 5⅝” by 2¾”
Old Olive Two Tone card – 6” by ½”
Pecan Pie card – 1 ½” by ½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside

I stamped a row of trees from the Blessed Beginnings stamp set across the Basic White panel measuring 5⅝” by 2¾” using Early Espresso ink.

Using Granny Apple Green ink, I added the ground beneath each tree.

The trees were coloured using the following Blends Pens – Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green and Old Olive. The trunks were coloured with the Pecan Pie Blends Pens. The decorated panel was then glued to the larger Pecan Pie layer.

I tore the thin strip of Two-Tone Old Olive card from end to end and added it to the bottom of the panel. The whole piece was then adhered to the Lemon Lime Twist card base on Dimensionals.

The sentiment, from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set was stamped on the small piece of Pecan Pie card using Versamark ink. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it with my Heat Tool

A White Baker’s Twine bow was added with a Mini Glue Dot, and the sentiment was added, straddling the knot, on Dimensionals. A trio of Moody Palette Glossy Dots completed the card.

Please hop on to share the inspiration provided by my crafty friends.
