Two Friendly Gnomes card

I am loving the gnomes and have made a sweet card for a friend using the Friendly Gnomes stamp set.

 

Colours used in this project are:

 

To recreate the Two Gnomes card, you will need:

Tahitian Tide card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” x 2 – one for the inside
2022 – 2024 In Color DSP – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 4” by 3 ½”
Scrap Basic White card

 

I adhered the panel of dsp to one of the larger Basic White panels and wrapped a piece of Parakeet Party around the panel three times before gluing the panel to the Tahitian Tide card base.

The two cute gnomes were stamped onto the smaller panel of Basic White card in Basic Gray ink and the panel was die cut using the Scalloped Contour Dies.

The adorable gnomes were coloured using the following Blends Pens – Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Starry Sky, Sweet Sorbet and SU1000 from the Naturals Collection.

I added the decorated panel to the card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment form the Adorable Owls stamp set was stamped in basic Gray ink onto scrap Basic White card, trimmed down and tucked under the decorated panel.

Country Wreaths card for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are working with a sketch challenge. I have used the Cottage Wreaths stamp set to create my card.

 

Colours used in this project are:

 

To recreate the country wreaths card, you will need:

Soft Succulent card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛”
Sweet Sorbet card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 3½” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” for the inside
Scrap Basic White, Sweet Sorbet, Soft Succulent and 2022 – 2024 In Color dsp.

 

I ran the smaller panel of Basic White card through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder. This was then glued to the Sweet Sorbet panel using Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I used the same glue to adhere the piece to the Soft Succulent card base.

I flagged the ends of 2 scrap strips of 2022 – 2024 In Color dsp and added them to the card front with liquid glue. I had flagged one end with Scissors.

A stitched circle was die cut from the square of Basic White card using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I used the double leafy sprig to stamp around the edge of the circle with Soft Succulent ink. I used liquid glue to add the circle to the card front.

The leafy wreath was stamped in Evening Evergreen ink onto scrap Basic White card, added berries with Sweet Sorbet ink and used the Country Wreath Dies to cut out the wreath, this was added to the die cut circle on Dimensionals. A bow, die cut from the scrap Sweet Sorbet card was added to the wreath.

A beautiful blue botanical card made using the Botanical Layers stamp set and 2022 - 2024 In Color dsp from Stampin' Up!

Blue Botanicals card

Today, I have been playing with the pretty Botanical Layers stamp set and the 2022 – 2024 In Color dsp and have made a sweet blue botanicals card.

Colours used in this project are:

 

To recreate the blue botanical card, you will need:

Thick Basic White card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
2022 – 2024 In Color dsp – 5⅝” by 3⅞” – rounded upper left corner
Gray Granite card – 4⅜” by 2 ½” – rounded upper left corner
Basic White card – 4¼” by 2⅜” – rounded upper left corner
Scrap Basic White card

 

I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the piece of dsp to the Thick Basic White card base.

The plant image was stamped in Starry Sky ink onto the small panel of Basic White and I added some of the smaller circular dotty images in the same ink.

The stamped panel was then adhered to the Gray Granite layer with the same liquid glue. The panel was then mounted onto the card front using Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in the same Starry Sky ink onto scrap Basic White card and die cut using one of the Beautiful Shapes Dies. I love the embossed edge that this die added.

Using a Starry Sky Blends Pen, I coloured in a trio of Basic Pearls and added these and a double bow made using the 2022 – 2024 In Colour Twine to complete the card.
