A pretty butterfly themed sending love card made using the All Aflutter stamp set and the Here & Now Mix & Match Ephemera pack from Stampin' Up!

Here & Now Butterfly card

Hello and welcome to the Stamping With Friends Blog Hop where we are sharing projects made using the Here & Now Mixed Ephemera Pack. This pack is, in my opinion, designed for scrapbooking which is something I haven’t got to grips with yet. I have therefore used it to make a card.

Colours used in this care are:

I created the here & now butterfly card using the following supplies:

Strawberry Slush card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛” on the long side
Secret Sea – 4½” by 3½”
Label from the Here & Now Ephemera Pack
Secret Sea – 4 ¾” by ⅝”
Basic White -5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White

I stamped the sentiment, from the Framed Violets stamp set in the centre of my chosen label using Secret Sea ink.

I used 3rd generation Strawberry Slush ink to stamp over the sentiment, adding texture. The same image was stamped in 3rd generation Strawberry Slush ink onto one of the panels of Basic White card in the upper right and lower left corners.

I cut the rectangle of Secret Sea card in half on the diagonal and adhered the two halves to the back of the stamped panel in opposite corners. The whole piece was then glued to the Strawberry Slush card front.

I flagged both ends of the strip of Secret Sea card and added it to the centre of the stamped panel and mounted the label over top on Dimensionals.

The trio of butterflies from the All Aflutter stamp set were stamped in Secret Sea ink onto scrap Basic White card. I coloured in the images using the following Blends Pens – Darling Duckling and Strawberry Slush. The butterflies were then punched out using the All Aflutter Punch.

The butterflies were added to the card front with Mini Glue Dots. A trio of 2025 -2027 In Color Flat Pearls finished the card.

Please hop on to see what my fellow demos have made using this ephemera pack.

I embossed the 3¼” by 3” piece of Basic White card using the Lovely Stripes Embossing Folder. The embossed piece was then adhered to the 4⅛ by 3⅛” piece of Thick Basic White card with a small border around both sides and the bottom. It won’t reach the top of the panel, and this is intentional. Glue was added to the un-embossed strip at the top of the panel and the whole piece adhered under the top flap.
