Blooming Phrases card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Share it Sunday Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. I have used the Blooming Phrases stamp set to make a pretty, floral card.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the blooming phrases card, you will need:

Strawberry Slush card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” – scored at 4⅛”
Peach Pie card – 4⅞” by 3⅜”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3¾”
Peach Pie card – 5⅞” by ⅝”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside

From the 5¼” by 3¾” piece of Basic White card and the Textured Notes Dies; I die cut a decorated rectangle.

The stems were added using the end of one of the sentiments and Granny Apple Green ink. The washi tape was removed and the decorated panel glued to the Peach Pie panel. The whole piece was mounted onto the Strawberry Slush card front on Dimensionals.

The sentiment was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto the strip of Peach Pie card. I flagged both ends and added it to the card front.

A trio of Party Dots finished the card.

Please hop on to share the inspiration created by my crafty friends.

Lovely You card for the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge to work with. I have used the Lovely You stamp set to make my card.

Colours used in this project are:

To recreate the lovely you card, you will need:

Granny Apple Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded lower left corner
Melon Mambo card – 5⅜” by 3⅝” – rounded lower left corner
Basic White card – 5 ¾” by 3½” – rounded lower left corner
Basic White card – 2½” by 2½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – rounded lower left corner – for the inside

I die cut a stitched circle from the smallest piece of Basic White card using the Stylish Shapes Dies. I placed the die cut circle onto the smaller piece of Basic White card and roughly drew a circle around it.

I stamped the leaves and flowers in Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Granny Apple Green and Bermuda Bay ink, taking care to position the ends inside the pencil circle. I then ran the stamped panel through the Cut & Emboss Machine with the Fern 3D Embossing Folder.

The sentiment form the Cottage Rose stamp set was inked up using a Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo marker. I huffed on the stamp to re-moisten the ink and stamped it down on the die cut circle.
