Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. The pop out accordion card I am sharing today was made for a friend’s special birthday using the Petals of Beauty stamp set and dies.
Colours used to make this card are:
I created the pop out accordion petals of beauty card using the following supplies:
Thick Basic White card base – 20cm by 15cm – scored at 5cm, 10cm & 15cm on the long-side
Lost Lagoon card – 14.5cm by 4.5cm x 4
Kintsugi Inspirations dsp – 14cm by 4cm x 4
Thick Basic White card – 10cm by 7.5cm – scored at 7.5cm on the long-side
Kintsugi Inspirations dsp – 9.5cm by 7cm x 2
Basic White card – 3¾” by 2¾” x 2

I adhered the long panels of Kintsugi Inspirations dsp to the slightly larger pieces of Lost Lagoon card. These 4 panels were then glued to the slightly larger Thick Basic White card base which was then folded and burnished in a mountain, valley and mountain shape.

The remaining pieces of dsp were glued to the smaller piece of Thick Basic White card.

With the larger card base folded up, accordion style I adhered the left-hand side of the decorated panel to the front of the accordion panel, taking care that it would fit in a standard C6 Envelope. I repeated this step to glue the back panel of the pop out portion.

I cut 2 arches from the pieces of Basic White card measuring 3¾” by 2¾” using the Everyday Arches Dies.

On one of the arches, I stamped the sentiment from the Coneflower Celebrations stamp set with Lost Lagoon ink. Using the same ink, I stamped the second sentiment from the Branching Out stamp set on the 2nd arch. The arches were then glued to the pop out portion of the card.

I stamped the outline of a large and a small flower from the Petals of Beauty stamp set with Calypso Coral ink and added the infill colour with Petal Pink ink. These flowers were then cut using the Petals of Beauty Dies. The flowers were then added to the card front.

A scattering of Rainbow Dots completed the card.
