Pop Out Accordion Petals of Beauty Card – Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Share It Sunday Blog Hop where we are sharing something we have been working on recently. The pop out accordion card I am sharing today was made for a friend’s special birthday using the Petals of Beauty stamp set and dies.

Colours used to make this card are:

I created the pop out accordion petals of beauty card using the following supplies:

Thick Basic White card base – 20cm by 15cm – scored at 5cm, 10cm & 15cm on the long-side
Lost Lagoon card – 14.5cm by 4.5cm x 4
Kintsugi Inspirations dsp – 14cm by 4cm x 4

Thick Basic White card – 10cm by 7.5cm – scored at 7.5cm on the long-side
Kintsugi Inspirations dsp – 9.5cm by 7cm x 2
Basic White card – 3¾” by 2¾” x 2
Scrap Basic White & Lost Lagoon card

I adhered the long panels of Kintsugi Inspirations dsp to the slightly larger pieces of Lost Lagoon card. These 4 panels were then glued to the slightly larger Thick Basic White card base which was then folded and burnished in a mountain, valley and mountain shape.

With the larger card base folded up, accordion style I adhered the left-hand side of the decorated panel to the front of the accordion panel, taking care that it would fit in a standard C6 Envelope. I repeated this step to glue the back panel of the pop out portion.

A pretty Christmas card made using the Branching Out stamp set and dies and metallic Embossing Powders from Stampin' Up!

Metallic Branching Out Card – Stamping Dreams Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Stamping Dreams Blog Hop where we are creating ‘Tis the Season’ projects. I have made my card using the Branching Out stamp set and dies.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the metallic branching out card, you will need:

Secret Sea card base – 8 ¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5¼” by 3½”
Basic White card – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Secret Sea card – 4¾” by 3¼”
Vellum – 5⅛” by 3⅜”
Secret Sea card – 2¼” by ⅜”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”

I chose 2 dies from the Branching Out die set and used the larger to cut a label from the 5¼” by 3½” piece of Basic White card. The larger and smaller dies were nested together and used to die cut a frame from the larger panel of Secret Sea card. The frame was glued in place around the die hole in the white panel.
