Cute Cacti for the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink & Inspirations Blog Hop where we have a colour challenge and I have used the cute cacti stamp set. The colours we have been given are:

I added Basic White to the mix

To recreate the cute cacti card, you will need:

Rich Razzleberry card base – 8¼” by 5⅝” scored at 4⅛” – Rounded upper right corner
Blushing Bride card – 5⅛” by 3⅝” – Rounded upper right corner
Basic White card – 5” by 3½” – Rounded upper right corner
Hand Penned dsp – 3 ½” by ½”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – Rounded upper right corner – for the inside
Scrap Basic White card

Using a Blending Brush, I applied Blushing Bride ink to the smaller Basic White panel. I added the strip of Hand Penned dsp towards the bottom of this panel. The panel was then glued to the Blushing Bride layer and then to the Rich Razzleberry card front.

I stamped the 2 pots on scrap Basic White card, one in Misty Moonlight and the other in Coastal Cabana ink.

The cacti were stamped on the same scrap card in 1st and 2nd generation Old Olive ink and the flowers in both Rich Razzleberry and Blushing Bride. All the images were fussy cut using sharp scissors.

All the pieces were adhered together using Multicoloured Liquid Adhesive. They were then added to the card front on Dimensionals.

I stamped the sentiment in Rich Razzleberry ink.

Rain Boots for the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we have been challenged to make a project using the colours:

I  added Basic White to the mix.

To recreate the rainboots card, you will need:

Granny Apple Green card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored and folded at 4⅛” – rounded upper left corner
Melon Mambo card – 5⅛” by 3⅜” – rounded upper left
Basic White card – 5” by 3 ¼” – rounded upper left
Basic White card – 5 ½” by 3 ¾” – rounded upper left for the inside
⅜” wide strips of So Saffron, Melon Mambo & Basic White (x 2)

I stamped the daisy image in Granny Apple Green ink in the upper left and lower right corner of the Granny Apple Green card base.

The rainboots or wellies as we call them in the UK were stamped in So Saffron ink on the smaller Basic White panel. I inked up the daisy image again in So Saffron ink, stamped it off onto grid paper and stamped it on top of the wellies to give them a bit of extra subtle texture.

The stems and leaves were then stamped in Granny Apple Green ink on top of the boots and added the tulips in Melon Mambo. The whole panel was then added to the Melon Mambo panel with Multipurpose liquid Adhesive. I then added it to the card base on Dimensionals.
