Vase of Lavender Card – Ink.Stamp. Share Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Ink. Stamp. Share Blog Hop where we are showcasing something we have been working on recently. I have made a pretty vase of lavender card using the Cheers & Sips stamp set and dies.

Colours used to make this card are:

To recreate the vase of lavender card you will need:

Basic Beige card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic White card – 5⅜” by 3⅝”
Perennial Lavender dsp – 5 ¼” by 3 ½”
Basic White card – 3½” by 2¾”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾” – for the inside
Scrap Basic White and Season of Elegance dsp

The panel of Perennial Lavender designer series paper (dsp) was adhered to the 5⅜” by 3⅝” panel if Basic White card. A length of Twisted Gold twine from my stash was wrapped around the whole piece before it was adhered to the Basic Beige card base.

On scrap Basic White card, I stamped five sprays of lavender using Garden Green ink. They were coloured in using a Highland Heather Blends Pen. These were cut down, mini Dimensionals added to the back before they were tucked behind the raised vase.

Cheers & Sips card – Crafty Challenge Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Crafty Challenge Blog Hop where we are being inspired by a colour challenge. I have made my card using a new stamp set which will be available from the 6th May 2025 as an online exclusive.

Colours used in this card are:

To recreate the cheers & sips card, you will need:

Azure Afternoon card base – 8¼” by 5⅞” scored at 4⅛”
Basic Black card – 4⅜” by 2⅞”
Basic White card – 4¾” by 3¼”
Basic White card – 5½” by 3¾”
Scrap Basic White and Basic Black card

I began by stamping the citrus slice on the upper left and lower right corners of the Azure Afternoon card base using Azure Afternoon ink.

From the 4¾” by 3¼” panel of Basic White card, I die cut a decorative rectangle using the Textured Notes Dies. I glued the rectangle to the piece of Basic Black card.

Using images from the Cheers & Sips stamp set I stamped both glasses using Memento Tuxedo Black ink onto scrap Basic White card. I added leaves to the taller glass with Gorgeous Grape ink and stripes to the smaller glass using an Azure Afternoon Blends Pen.

The leafy image was stamped twice with Granny Apple Green ink and coloured using Grany Apple Green Blends Pens. The citrus slice was stamped twice with Crushed Curry ink. All the images were then die cut using the Cheers & Sips Dies.

The ‘ground image’ was then stamped at the bottom of the white rectangle and the rectangle was then mounted onto the Azure Afternoon card front on Dimensionals. The glasses were then added to the raised panel, the leaves tucked in behind and the citrus slices added to the front.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink onto scrap Basic Black card. I covered it with White Embossing Powder and set it using my Heat Tool. I trimmed the piece down and added it to the card front. A trio of Iridescent Discs completed the card.
